Best AI Conferences in 2027: Top Global Events, Dates & Locations
Discover the 7 best AI conferences in 2027, including CES, NVIDIA GTC and HumanX. Explore event dates, locations, key topics and expert tips to choose the right conference.

Thinking about going to an AI conference in 2027? You’ve got plenty of choices, from huge tech exhibitions in Las Vegas to smaller gatherings built for developers, investors and business leaders.
Seven international events stand out on the calendar,
including NVIDIA GTC, HumanX, CES and World Summit AI. They don’t attract the
same crowd. Some are about building AI systems. Others are about what
businesses actually do with the technology once it’s built.
Picking the right one matters, especially when flights,
hotels and registration fees all add up. I went through the published schedules
and programs so you can work out which events deserve your time and money.

Dates reviewed against official organizer websites on
October 16, 2026. NVIDIA lists March 14–18 in its FAQ, although its main
conference materials emphasize March 15–18.
1. CES 2027: Las Vegas,
USA

Dates: January 6–9, 2027
Official website: ces
CES is where emerging technology starts to look like
something you might actually buy.
The Consumer Technology Association runs the show, and it
pulls in established manufacturers, startups and tech companies alike. AI turns
up everywhere you look, from connected home gadgets to vehicles and robotics.
One confirmed highlight for 2027 is Lenovo’s Tech World
keynote at Sphere on January 6. Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang will lead a
presentation on hybrid AI.
If you’re a product developer, journalist or retailer, or
you run a business that keeps an eye on consumer tech trends, CES is a good
fit. You get to see working demos and watch manufacturers fold AI into everyday
products. But if you’re an engineer hoping for serious machine learning
training, a specialist conference will serve you better.
2. AI & Big Data Expo
Global: London, UK

Dates: February 3–4, 2027
Venue: Olympia London
Official website: AI EXPO
Lots of companies have tried out AI. Getting those
experiments to work reliably across a whole organization is a very different
problem.
That’s the gap this London event focuses on. It covers
enterprise AI, analytics, governance and the infrastructure you need to keep
production systems running.
The published agenda includes talks on rising AI costs and
whether companies are seeing a decent return on what they’ve spent. Other
sessions look at the organizational changes needed to get past the pilot stage.
For technology managers, enterprise architects and data teams, that’s the stuff
that lands on your desk every week.
There’s a practical perk, too: exhibition admission is
free, though some conference sessions need paid access. Look at the ticket
categories before you register.
3. HumanX 2027: Las Vegas,
USA

Dates: March 7–10, 2027
Venue: Mandalay Bay
Official website: HUMANX
HumanX is the one to look at if you’re building a business
around artificial intelligence.
It isn’t mainly about technical development. Founders,
investors and executives come together to talk about commercial opportunities.
The VentureConnect program matches qualified startups with
investors for scheduled 15-minute meetings, and HumanX Connect helps attendees
set up conversations with potential partners, enterprise buyers and other
participants. This is where preparation pays off. A founder who has picked out
the right investors before landing will probably get far more out of the event
than someone who just sits through presentations with no goal in mind.
There are several ticket categories, including reduced
pricing for qualifying startups. Check current rates and eligibility before you
book. If you’re after fundraising, partnerships or a feel for how companies are
adopting AI commercially, it’s worth a serious look.
4. NVIDIA GTC 2027: San
Jose, USA

Dates: March 14–18, 2027, according to NVIDIA’s FAQ
Location: San Jose, California
Official website: NVIDIA GTC
Want to understand how modern AI systems actually get
built? Start with NVIDIA GTC.
The program covers accelerated computing, AI
infrastructure, inference, robotics and agentic AI, and technical training and
developer sessions are a big part of it.
Physical AI is another major theme. Teaching a robot to
understand its surroundings and respond through movement throws up engineering
problems that go well beyond generating text or images. That makes GTC a
natural pick for machine learning engineers, researchers and infrastructure
specialists working on demanding applications. NVIDIA also supports virtual
participation, which helps if you’re coming from abroad.
One scheduling quirk to watch: NVIDIA’s FAQ says March
14–18, while its main conference information highlights March 15–18. Check
individual session dates when you plan your visit.
5. World Summit AI
Americas: Montréal, Canada

Dates: April 7–8, 2027
Venue: Palais des congrès de Montréal
Official website: WORLD SUMMIT
World Summit AI Americas ties technical research to bigger
conversations about investment, policy and where the AI industry is heading.
The announced themes for Montréal include frontier models,
computing infrastructure, energy demand, security and sovereign AI. That last
one is getting more attention as governments and organizations ask how much
control they should have over their own computing infrastructure and AI
capabilities.
It’s not just a developer crowd, either. Researchers,
policymakers, investors and executives all have reason to be in that room.
The organizer has sketched out presentations, panels and
workshops, but the detailed 2027 agenda isn’t final yet. So if one particular
speaker or research topic is what’s pulling you there, wait for the confirmed
program before booking anything.
6. Data + AI Summit 2027:
San Francisco, USA

Dates: June 21–24, 2027
Format: In person and virtual
Official website: DATA BRICKS
Every flashy AI product leans on a data system, and that
system either holds up or it doesn’t.
Bad records, shaky pipelines, loose governance: any of them
can sink a project, however good the model on top happens to be. Databricks
built Data + AI Summit around that unglamorous layer. You’ll find data
engineering, analytics, machine learning and open-source technologies, along
with technical learning sessions.
People tend to lump it in with NVIDIA GTC, and yes, there’s
some overlap. But GTC leans harder into computing infrastructure, while this
one spends its energy on data platforms and the workflows behind AI
applications. Data engineer? Analyst? Responsible for your company’s data
stack? Then this one’s probably yours.
The 2027 edition has a virtual option too, so it’s fair to
ask whether San Francisco is worth the flight.
7. World Summit AI
Amsterdam: Netherlands

Dates: October 6–7, 2027
Venue: Taets Art & Event Park
World Summit AI is heading back to the Amsterdam area in
October 2027. The series kicked off in 2017, so it’s no newcomer.
The crowd is a mix of researchers, tech companies,
investors and policymakers, all interested in building AI and in living with
the consequences. Expect talk about commercial uses, scientific progress,
responsible deployment and governance.
If you lead a business, that mix is handy. Deciding whether
to adopt AI isn’t only about what the technology can do. Regulation matters,
and so do the operating demands you’ll face down the road.
The organizer has confirmed the dates and venue. Some
travel guidance, though, still describes the previous edition, so check
transport and registration details yourself. And if you’re based in Europe,
Amsterdam is likely a lot easier to reach than a North American equivalent.
Which one should you pick?
Start with what you actually do all day.
Building around advanced computing, robotics or AI
infrastructure? NVIDIA GTC is probably your best bet. Data people may lean
toward Data + AI Summit. Founders chasing investment or commercial partnerships
should look hard at HumanX, and AI & Big Data Expo Global suits anyone
wrestling with enterprise implementation.
If research, policy and industry leadership are what you
follow, World Summit AI in Montréal or Amsterdam fits. CES is the widest lens
on AI in consumer and commercial technology.
Costs and travel planning
Not all tickets cover the same things. Exhibition access,
workshops and networking programs may each need their own registration.
AI & Big Data Expo Global has free exhibition entry,
while HumanX uses separate pricing categories. NVIDIA GTC and Data + AI Summit
both offer virtual alternatives.
Before you buy, check the sessions you want, the meeting
opportunities, visa requirements and hotel cancellation policies. A shorter
trip with the right meetings already booked can beat several days of drifting
from one presentation to the next.
Final thoughts
These conferences feel very different from each other. CES
is about products, GTC about technical development, HumanX about business
relationships. The rest dig deeper into enterprise adoption, data systems and
AI governance.
Pick the one that matches your work and the people you want
to meet. And before you commit to international travel, confirm the latest
agenda and ticket conditions with the organizer.
Last researched: October 16, 2026. Event schedules,
speakers and registration arrangements may change.
